Awkwafina An American actor and singer, began with humorous rap tracks which dealt with the subject of race and sexuality. Her fame grew into Hollywood after she released a series of raps. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her very first music experience. She played the trumpet. Also, she received the classical and jazz education later when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. In her schooling, she specialized in the field of journalism as well as women's studies.
