Country-pop and actor songwriter Jana Kramer rose to fame in the world of television when she joined the cast in One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. Jana Kramer's first country releases were featured in the episodes of the show, helping to propel her debut album from 2012 into the top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album from 2015, reached into the Top Ten. The decade ended by performances in Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer was born and was raised in Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to the country genre, and eventually went on to pursue a career in recording. But, she made her acting debut as an teen in the 2002 indie horror movie Dead/Undead. Gaston spots in shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the next few years until she was cast in the role in Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights during the show's second season 2007-2008. Kramer played in 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as Portia as well as Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009, where she played Alex Dupre. Her second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. It was boosted by the Top Five country song I Got the Boy and as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached number 3 among the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. Starting in September of 2016, her two-month stint on the 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth. That same year, the song Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser became an enormous adult contemporary success.
