Hossack is a native of Steinbach, Manitoba Canada. While a young girl her family lived and went to school within Killarney Manitoba. She was active in musical theatre productions. She was originally a pianist as she began the Brandon University studies. The major she was pursuing changed into Voice. After a short stint in drama, she declared that her sole interest was acting. After graduating from Brandon She then attended the Banff School of Fine Arts. Hossack started appearing on stage at the Rainbow Stage and at the Muskoka Festival, in Winnipeg. Other World (1989-1992); Cobra (1993-1994) Also, Profit (1996); Hope Island (1999) Also, Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital (2004). In 2006 she played in the role of Falcon Beach on Canadian television. Hossack was a guest on Sliders as well as Mysterious Ways. In the TV series Reaper she portrayed Mrs. Oliver.
