
Amanda Louise Holden was born on February 16, 1971. She is an English actress as well as a media personality and a singer. She has been the judge of Britain's Got Talent since 2007. Jamie Theakston and Holden co-host the Heart Breakfast radio program on weekday mornings. Holden was raised in Portsmouth Hampshire. She spent a lot of her youth in Bishop's Waltham. When she was nine she was accepted into the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Other TV work includes three seasons of comedy Kiss Me Kate with Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham, three series of ITV's The Grimleys, Celeb with Harry Enfield, BBC series Hearts and Bones with Damian Lewis and Damian Lewis, the Jonathan Creek episode "The Problem at Gallowes Gate" and the Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" alongside Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she was in the role of Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay, and Aleha Dixon. Along with Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Simon Cowell, Holden is a judge on Britain's Got Talent. She was a judge on the show in 2006.
